Releasing the right amount of money:

Equity release allows homeowners aged 55 and over to access some of the wealth tied up in their property without having to move. The amount you can borrow is primarily based on your age and the value of your home—generally, the older you are, the more you may be able to release. In some cases, your health and lifestyle can also be taken into account, which may increase the amount available through what's known as an enhanced plan.

At Aspect Mortgages, we’ll carefully assess your personal circumstances to find the most suitable option for you. We’ll explain how much you could release, what it could mean for your long-term plans, and any impact on your estate or means-tested benefits. As members of the Equity Release Council, we ensure every recommendation meets strict standards and includes essential consumer protections—so you can make informed choices with confidence and clarity.
