Richard is the Managing Director of Aspect Mortgages, keeping the business running so the advice team can focus on what they do best. With a background in financial services since 2007, he understands the industry inside out and holds the whole operation to the high standards Aspect is known for.
16 St Thomas's Road, Chorley, PR7 1HR

Richard leads Aspect Mortgages with a clear focus: build a firm where expert advice and exceptional service are the standard, not the exception. His role spans advisor support, product and process planning, compliance and marketing, the work that keeps the business sharp and the team performing at their best. Whether that means working through a complex case alongside an adviser, staying on top of lender relationships, or developing the processes that keep the client experience consistent, the detail matters to him.
Richard is also the reason Aspect feels the way it does. A family business in the truest sense, he and Rachel built it together, and that shared investment in getting things right runs through everything the firm does. When clients deal with Aspect, they are dealing with people who have a personal stake in the outcome.
Outside work, Richard spends his time with Rachel and their two children. He travels widely, particularly in Africa and the Middle East, and is a season ticket holder at Newcastle United.
As Managing Director, Richard keeps clients informed about the mortgage market, what's changing and what to consider before taking any steps. Here's his take on some of the topics that come up most often.
